Looking to build better eating habits? Proper, sustainable nutrition doesn’t have to be hard — or restrictive.
Don’t believe it?
Just ask Fit Mother Camille!
Camille is a busy mother of two (and a black belt in Kung Fu!) who was looking for a way to make her nutrition more sustainable.
She tried various diets, meal plans, counting macros, and anything else you can think of, and just found it all too complicated and tedious.
As she was searching for answers online, she found some of our videos and was drawn in by our concept of the Perfect Plate.
As she began adopting the Perfect Plate into her meal plan, she saw how simple, powerful, and effective it was, so she fully joined the Fit Mother Project.
The rest, as they say, is history!
Camille made such fantastic progress, and she has new perspectives on how to make nutrition sustainable, how to exercise effectively and age-appropriately, and how to stay sharp in all areas of her life.
She's definitely someone we can all learn a lot from!

Trying To Find Something That Just Worked
Camille has been practicing Kung Fu for over 20 years, and she's always been a healthy eater.
“I always eat very healthily. I don’t eat junk food or fried food. I have always been keen to know how much of the macronutrients I really need to have to get the right amount of energy, carbohydrates, proteins, and fats to build muscle.”
Health and fitness aren't just about losing weight — it's about maintaining it as well.
And that's where Camille was; she just wanted a simple and sustainable way to maintain her fitness.
After years of trying different things, she began to doubt if there were any real answers.
Then she found the Fit Mother Project.
“One of my goals with the Fit Mother Project was to build muscle without bulking.”
She found what she was looking for when it came to diet and exercise, but she soon found so much more.
“The mindset that I’ve adopted is just consistency. I’m not doing this to fit in a dress, look good, or for somebody else. I’m doing this for myself. It is a lifestyle change, but I think of it as a lifestyle adoption, making sure that it continues.”

Building Better Eating Habits
Camille finally found the answers she was looking for, and everything started coming together.
“One of the things that the Fit Mother Project solved for me was the confusion around macros because if you follow the Perfect Plate, you’re going to either hit your macros or be close enough that you can still do the workouts and achieve the desired results.”
Freed from the tediousness of counting and tracking every little thing, Camille was living the healthy, sustainable lifestyle she had always desired.
She's also seen numerous other improvements!
“When I started the Fit Mother Project, I was size 10, or, more comfortably, a 12. Today, I’m a size 8. I haven’t lost a ton of weight, but a few inches. I built muscle and got a lot stronger.”
She's also had non-scale victories; her son has taken a keen interest in her fitness and is looking to build his own sustainable lifestyle.
So what would Camille say to someone looking to join the Fit Mother Project?
“Just start with the program. There are a lot of different components to stick with, but there is a lot of support out there. There are a lot of people who will answer your questions. There have been many people who have been down the same path and have had the same struggles. Don’t get discouraged if you see a small weight gain. Everybody sees that. So, know that everybody’s going through it. People have similar experiences. So, use the community, and get support. Make sure you have the support of your family behind you. It’s a lifestyle adoption. It’s not transactional. It’s not about one month, and then you do something else. This program teaches you how to change your lifestyle and adopt good practices that are healthy practices and sustainable. It doesn’t matter if you are starting out at 20 years old or 80. This program has concepts for everyone. Also, share your knowledge. Give back as you make your own.”
3 Key Takeaways From Camille's Journey
To summarize, here are three key lessons you can learn from Camille’s successful health and fitness journey:
Lesson 1: Health and Fitness Is a Lifestyle — Not a Quick Fix
Regardless of your health and fitness goals, you have to know that it's a marathon, not a sprint.
Find ways to make nutrition and exercise sustainable — make it work for YOU!
If something is too challenging or restrictive, you're likely to abandon it.
Lesson 2: Consistency Is Key
Life will always get in the way no matter how committed and motivated you are.
You'll have good days and bad days.
You'll fail and fall off your path.
But success will follow if you stay consistent and on track and don't give up.
Lesson 3: Integrate Your Mind, Body, and Soul
Health and fitness are far more than physical.
Improving your life in any way involves all aspects of yourself – physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental.
To achieve your best self, you need to integrate your mind, body, and soul.
